Project: Comparitive Texts

This project will explore the idea of contextual texts in exploring how similar types of content can be repurposed for different audiences. The source material for this exploration will use different versions of the same short stories by Raymond Carver and associated reference or academic writing. Through analysis of the selected texts I will design both individual and comparative versions of the stories as bound books complete with cover designs. I will also explore technical aspects of the process in creating a single source document of all text that can be mapped to the typographic styles of each deliverable.
