Our ideas of privacy have changed drastically with the advent of smart phones, social media, targeted metrics, location tracking, Alexa, and what protections we give up in exchange for convenience. These moments are like windows, offering up a glimpse into the lives of others. At any given time, we don’t really know who’s watching us—in our homes—we feel safe under an illusion of privacy.
